Heritage Fleet
This is our beautiful Heritage Fleet, unique to Middlewich Narrowboats. They are all painted in our traditional signage with castles and roses a plenty. You will notice their design is very different from our Comfort Fleet, with an internal engine room. The sound they make is traditional too with their wonderful chugging three cylinder Lister engines, like a warm beating heart that somehow, gets into your soul. These boats are especially for the romantic nostalgics amongst us.

Holly - 47’ traditional style 4+2 berth

7’ long front deck with traditional cratch and cloths giving extra sleeping/sitting/dogs area. Boatmans cabin and forward engine room, easy
handling - Good for Beginners.

Maple - 60’ Traditional style 8 berth

Maple is a beautiful, popular 8 berth narrowboat with all the Traditional features of canal boats from the past such as traditional controls, boatsman cabin, solid fuel stove and a classic engine, all mixed with a more modern features like a wetroom, Style bathroom, TV, DVD player, CD/MP3 player and the facility for its customers to hire a 2 kw inverter for a small fee which will enable them to use equipment like hairdryers/hair straighteners. The boat boasts a well equipped kitchen and ample room for dinning and socialising. This boat is ideal for large families, a group of friends as it has two toilets or fans of the traditional boats. Maple's sleeping arrangements can be made up as follows: 3 doubles. 2 doubles & 4 singles or 1 double & 5 singles.

 
Willow - 56’ Traditional style 6 berth

Willow is a beautiful, popular 6 berth narrowboat with all the Traditional features of canal boats from the past such as traditional Controls, boatsman cabin, solid fuel stove and a classic engine, all mixed with a more modern features like a wetroom Style bathroom, TV, DVD player, CD/MP3 player and the facility for its customers to hire a 2 kw inverter for a small fee which will enable them to use equipment like hairdryers/hair straighteners. The boat boasts a well equipped kitchen and ample room for dining and socialising. This boat is ideal for large families, a group of friends or fans of the traditional boats. Willow's sleeping arrangements are made up as follows: 3 double beds.
  Larch - 66' Traditional Tug style 6 berth
Larch is a beautiful and spacious "Steve Hudson" tug style 6 berth narrowboat with all the Traditional features of canal boats from the past such as traditional Controls, boatsman cabin, solid fuel stoves and a classic engine, all mixed with a more modern features like TV DVD player, CD/MP3 player and is equipped with a 2 kw inverter which will enable them to use equipment like hairdryers/hair straighteners and games consoles. The boat boasts a well equipped kitchen and a very large area for dinning and socialising. The master bedroom is located at the front of the boat with an en-suite washroom.
This boat is ideal for families, or group of friends as it has two toilets or fans of the traditional tug style boats. Larch sleeping arrangements can be made into 3 double beds.
